Twenty-five thousand dollars in cold, hard cash is in your lap -- it's yours. Trot Insider wants to know what you are going to do with it.

The same hypothetical question was asked to all 40 of the individuals which gained entrance to Sunday's Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship via various qualifying events.

The TCNHC, which carries a $25,000 grand prize, will be decided at Rideau Carleton Raceway.

Twenty-six of the TCNHC participants explained what they will do with the grand prize if they are lucky enough to walk away with it.

• Invest in a horse
• Buy a fishing boat and probably leave some at the track
• Take a 40th wedding anniversary trip
• Go on a vacation to Greece
• Buy a new car and retire from my job
• Play the horses
• 'Make someone’s day'
• Buy another horse
• Give some to the grand kids and take a trip
• Take a family vacation
• Donate it to cancer research
• Home renovations and pay bills
• Go on a golf vacation
• Donate some to my church
• 'Whatever my wife wants'
• Buy a new car
• Spend it on my wife
• Buy a broodmare
• Breed my mare to Mach Three
• Invest in stock
• Share the wealth with my kids
• Put a down payment on a house
• Put it in the bank
• Save for college
• Pay off my debt
• Fly to Vegas
