One of six Rideau Carleton Raceway representatives for the Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship is Denis Klavdianos.
The Ottawa, Ont. native is hoping that competing on his home turf will work to his advantage on November 8 when he will join 40 other players from across the country at Rideau Carleton.
The opportunity to win the $25,000 grand prize is the chance of a lifetime, and Klavdianos is sharpening his skills in preparation for the big day.
Trot Insider was able to catch up with Klavdianos and get the inside scoop on the local contender.
Klavdianos is a Rideau Carleton regular that has big plans for the $25,000 if he should be so lucky to win it. He’d like to take a extravagant trip to Greece and maybe take it easy for a while.
