Frank Reid Sr. Passes

Trot Insider has learned that horseman Frank Reid Sr. passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 8 at the age of 81.

Beloved husband of 60 years to Marilyn Reid (Rogers), dear father to Frank Jr., John, Brenda, Heather, Judy, Terry and Cindy. Cherished grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Frank was regarded as a very good horseman, having trained many colts for United Stock Farm, and was well respected in the industry as Paddock Judge at Windsor Raceway for many years, and is also a Korean War Vet.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thank-you to the doctors and nurses of Leamington District Memorial Hospital.

As per Frank's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service.
