The minis are back! Back by popular demand, the Xtreme miniature horses will take to the Georgian Downs oval to take part in the 2011 edition of Xtreme Horsepower on Saturday, August 27.

For the past two years, the miniature horses have raced in a non-wagering event at Xtreme Horsepower and provided loads of entertainment for the crowd on hand, especially the kids.

The response was so great, the minis have been invited back for the fifth edition of Xtreme. They’ll compete in a five-eighths-mile event.

Following the one-lap race, there will be a public 'meet and greet' with the minis and their drivers in the area north of the paddock.

Miniature Horse Race Information - Conditions

• 37” and under
• No specific gait required for race
• Safety vests and helmet must be worn
• No professional drivers
• 5/8 mile race
