Longtime horseman and standardbred trainer Clarke Archibald passed away peacefully on May 30 in his 96th year.
Clarke was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in WWII.
As a partner at Sulky Ridge Farms in Alberta and a trainer with Sue-Ann Stables in Ontario, Clarke worked with horses such as Peat Moss, Shadow Moss and Peats Image.
Clarke is survived by his sons Bert, Ron, and Carl, and their wives and families.
