Trot Insider has learned that Standardbred owner/trainer Dianne Heywood (nee Clifton), of Windsor, Ont. passed away on Sunday, April 8 with her family by her side. Dianne, the cherished wife of Bev, was 66.
Dianne, who has been wed to Bev for 43 years, is the loving mother of John (Robert) Montalvo, Lonnie (Robin) Heywood, Kathy Lynn Heywood, Sandra Jean (William) Struyke, Dale (Jaqueline) Heywood and Shawn Heywood.
Dianne is the beloved grandmother of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Carol (Gene) Penny, William Clifton, Mary Anne (Ule) Clifton and the late Freidas Clifton.
Dianne will be sadly missed by her extended family and dear friends.
