James ‘Jim’ Sizer Passes

It has been announced that James Allan Sizer passed peacefully at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, in his 84th year.

Jim is the oldest brother of the horse racing bothers, Tom, Bob, Phil, Glen and Kevin, and is also a brother to 11 other siblings.

Beloved husband of Anita Sizer (Girard). Dear father of Tina and Jamie Haussler. Stepfather of Lynn; Daniel; Michelle; Yvon and Yvan Couture. He will be dearly missed by nine loving grandchildren. Brother of Bill (Betty); Tom (Dianne); Bob (Judy); Glen (Peggy); Phil (Judy); Norman; Kevin (Cheryl); Lois Jaynes; Marilyn Moulton; Patricia Quesnel; Nancy Hunt; Margaret Bulger; Kathy Sizer; Carol Quanz (Jeff); and Gloria Sizer. Loving uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Margaret Sizer and his brother John Sizer.

The family will receive friends at the Hannah Funeral Home in Napanee at 123 Dundas Street West (613-354-3341) on Friday, February 7 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, February 8 from 1:00 p.m., followed by service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment Cataraqui Cemetery in Kingston. Memorial donations (by cheque or credit card) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
