Sad to hear of Jim's passing. Jim Vinnell was an outstanding contributor to horse racing in British Columbia and a strong leader for harness racing in BC in his elected voluntary positions with Harness Racing BC, BC Standardbreds and BC Standardbred Breeders. He loved horse racing and loved life. My wife Debra and I valued his friendship and guidence during our time in BC. He will be missed by all in BC and by his friends downunder- David Aldred ([email protected])

Jim contributed hugely to the sport in BC, giving so freely of his time for many, many years. Just a great guy. He will be sadly missed. Thanks Jim, and RIP.
