Invitro gave Gord Irwin many reasons to be proud during her sparkling racing career. The resident of Cobourg, Ont. told Trot Insider today that the $2.3 million earner is now in good form to deliver him a gift off the track.

"I was in contact with David Heffering from Tara Hills today and he told me Invitro is 45 days in foal to Somebeachsomewhere," Irwin told Trot Insider.

Invitro, the multiple stakes winning daughter of Camluck, compiled a record of 35-30-11 from 106 starts. Her biggest triumphs came in the $300,000 Ontario Sires Stakes Super Finals and $364,000 Roses Are Red Stakes.

"If all goes well, she will deliver a foal next April," Irwin explained. "I'm very pleased."
