Published: June 17, 2023 12:30 pm EDT

This week's Rewind is the monthly feature Picture Parade and this time around takes on the central theme of Father's Day, observed this year on Sunday, June 18. Each photo in the grouping shows a father and son or daughter combo, with at least one of the pictured persons being associated with harness racing as a career.

Picture Parade

This picture was taken for a Mother's Day feature but since  three sons are in it let's test your skills one more time.  Alvin Weil, Pres. of  Roosevelt Raceway, is second from the right. Their father's name was James, a dairy and potato farmer who was also involved in harness racing. Maybe he was home doing the milking. Who are these fine folks?

Blast From The Past

Blast from the Past

Who in the audience can identify what these fine fellows are doing in this picture that was taken over 100 years ago? Why not give it your best shot!

Quote For The Week: "Dadication is a word specially created for this day we call Father's Day."

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL FATHERS IN THE READING AUDIENCE!

On a personal note I am both proud and thankful to be blessed as a father and grandfather.
