When animals get on the track during the course of a horse race the potential for danger is always there. In the case of a subbing Monticello track photographer last week, the situation translated into a great shot
for the portfolio.
Liz Stubits, subbing for Monticello's regular photographer, Geri Schwarz, captured a shot of a groundhog making his way onto the track one rainy afternoon during the home stretch of a trotting event.
