Reports indicate that California's Santa Anita Park, owned by bankrupt Magna Entertainment, will enter into an agreement with the production company behind HBO's Luck to use parts of the track as the scene for the cable TV show.
Many of Luck's cast and crew members, including lead Dustin Hoffman, were on hand at Santa Anita on Saturday to welcome Zenyatta into the winner's circle following her 2010 debut.
Hoffman is set to play gambler Ace Bernstein in Luck, a series revolving around horse racing culture, directed by director Michael Mann and produced by David Milch.
