Heavy 1-2 favourite Ramegade Bruiser treated his backers on Halloween night at Woodbine Racetrack with a wire-to-wire score in the featured $40,000 Preferred Pace, which earned him millionaire status

.

With Silent Swing scratched sick, the Preferred field was reduced to five. Jody Jamieson sent the six-year-old altered son of Rambaran-Love You Dear to command from Post 4 and did not look back as he raced through panels of :27.2, :55.1 and 1:22.4 en route to victory in 1:51.2.

Keystone Horatio (Randy Waples) finished one and a quarter lengths behind while the pocket-sitting Dali (Luc Ouellette) was third.

David Brown trains and owns the talented pacer, who has won 12 of 26 starts this year earning $368,400. Ramegade Bruiser now boasts 46 victories on his lifetime record and $1,000,139 in winnings.
