Lifestream Mindale kept his win streak intact this afternoon for trainer Bill Robinson scoring his fifth in the final event at Flamboro Downs.
With Mike Langdon in the bike, the 11-year-old son of Life Sign used off the pace tactics this time to score his 57th victory in 1:57.3.
Lifestream Mindale got away fourth from Post 3 as Lock On (Garrett Whelan) took the field to the first quarter in :27.4. The 1-5 favourite angled off the rail from second-over en route to the half in :57.4 and moved three wide around the stalled The Rizz (Scott Coulter) before three-quarters in 1:27.2. 'Lifestream' reached the front at the top of the stretch and managed to hold on by a quarter-length for the win as Victory Streak (Simon Allard) closed well for second. Nell Fire (Jody Jamieson) fired up for third.
Lifestream Mindale, a winner of $259,944 in career earnings, is now three-for-three in his 2009 campaign.
