Mud: Shoes Off or Flat Tire?

8 a.m. rise today for a tour through the zoo. It is the biggest attraction here in Norway with a couple of hundred thousand visitors every year

.

The gorilla was getting very upset with everyone, so he would keep running at the window. Afterwards we had dinner in a teepee with, you know, the usual fish. I think the tigers had just been fed because they left me alone, although one was giving me quite the look...

The races started at 6 and even though I got a few good posts the races just never seemed to go right. The track was muddy and one race the trainer took off his horse's shoes for the race. Didn't turn out to be a good decision. Another race I was hit at the gate and had to drive with a flat tire - turns out that was the race I did best in. I pray and hope for a much better last day.

We ended the night a bit different than every other - with a pizza which we got delivered from Peppes Pizza. Tomorrow we go for a boat tour and then fly back to Oslo for the final race day.

So, you're telling us, the gorilla was the highlight of the day, with a pizza running a close second. You're going to have lots of stories for the kids ! We'll pray along with you and keep fingers and toes crossed for a better day ahead!!
