Pat Hill’s parents wanted to win the Gold Cup & Saucer more than almost anything in life, and before they passed away in 2020 and 2022, they made it clear they’d love to see him carry on their dream. Winning that same race is also high on the bucket list of Dale and MacKenzie Spence, so when Pat recently purchased former Breeders Crown winner American History, in an effort to make the dream come true, and enlisted MacKenzie to train him and Dale to drive him, it only made sense.
