Sometimes a little tough love goes a long way. That’s what former standardbred trainer Edward Howard, who now works for Milburn Equine selling veterinary supplies in New York, has come to realize after watching his Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame broodmare Mystic Mistress in the field with one of her offspring, whom combined have earned $3.88 million to date.
