Marv Chantler of Mardon Stables has been involved in Canadian Standardbred racing for 55 years, and has worn the hats of race secretary, PR man, driver and breeder - to name a few. On June 17th, the man who has also done wonderful humanitarian work at a hospice in Alliston, Ontario, simply wore the hat of an owner, whose horse was racing for a $1 million purse.
