Trot Insider has learned that longtime standardbred owner/driver Kevin MacNeil of Dominion, Nova Scotia passed away on Monday, September 3 at the age of 76.
MacNeil was also the owner/operator of Blue Trim Farms Dominion. His most recent group of horses included Neil N Lady, On The Wing and open-class mare Jobrancas Lady Di.
MacNeil was a longtime fixture at the former Cape Breton Sports Centre, then renamed Tartan Downs in Sydney, and in recent times Northside Downs, North Sydney.
MacNeil is survived by his children and wife, CeeCe.
