A reminder to all trainers of good veteran Ohio-sired trotters, the draw for the $75,000 Ohio Sires Stakes Championship for four-year-old-and-up Horse & Gelding trotters and the $75,000 Ohio Sires Stakes Championship for four-year-old-and-up Mare trotters is Monday morning, October 7 (enter by 9 a.m.). Both events will be raced at Northfield on Saturday night, October 12.
All Ohio-sired veteran trotters that have made five or more starts in Ohio in 2019 through October 6 are eligible to enter. The top eight qualified horses entered in each division, based on Ohio purse earnings in at least five starts in 2019, will compete for the championships. Entry fee is $500 for those drawn into the race.
The $120,000 (est.) Courageous Lady, a Grand Circuit event for three-year-old filly pacers, will also be drawn on Monday, October 7 and raced on Saturday night, October 12, at Northfield.
