Georgian Downs would like to remind the industry that the Innisfil oval will feature live harness racing four days per week in the month of October
.
Post Time on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays will be 7:25 p.m. Sunday night racing will commence at 6:00 p.m.
New for Georgian in October is the Ontario Graduate Series for Ontario-sired three-year-olds (that are non-winners of $50,000 in 2011).
There will be separate divisions for horses of different sexes and gaits. The series will consist of two opening legs which will each be raced for $15,000.
The legs for pacers will be raced October 18 and 25, while the races for trotters will be contested October 19 and 26. The $50,000 (added) finals will be contested November 1.
Nominations for the series are $200 and are due October 7.
