The Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association of New Jersey's board of directors has announced the addition of its newest member Michael Posner of Jackson, New Jersey. He is filling a vacancy in the driver/trainer category from earlier this year.
Posner is a longtime local horseman that frequently races at Freehold Raceway and The Meadowlands. His career with Standardbreds started in 1980 after attending Ohio State University and he obtained his driver/trainer license in 1982. Posner currently owns and operates a 25-acre Standardbred training and rehab facility in Jackson, New Jersey.
"The board of directors are excited to have Posner join them as the newest representative of the N.J. horsemen," said the organization in its press release.
