Harvey Neff Passes

Trot Insider has learned that horseman Harvey W. Neff, the well-known London-area trainer of Invitational pacer Springbank, has passed away at the age of 83.

Neff, of Mount Brydges, Ont., passed away suddenly at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Saturday, July, 15.

Beloved husband of Nadia (nee Konyk). Loving father of Michael and Jason. Brother of the late Neil (late Catherine), Ruby (late Gordon Greer), late Velma (John Monette), Edna, Muriel (late Melvin Phillips), Myrtle (Ron Hopf), Ronald (late Lorna), and Janice (Nelson Crafts). Also sadly missed by his several nieces and nephews.

Donations to the Strathroy Hospital or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. At Harvey’s request, cremation has taken place.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
