2018 Meadowlands Pace Card Overview

The $701,830 Meadowlands Pace final headlined a smorgasbord of stakes affairs on the Saturday, July 14 program at the Meadowlands, including the second preliminary of the Miss Versatility, $257,000 Del Miller Memorial, $262,000 Stanley Dancer Memorial, $191,800 Mistletoe Shalee, $405,850 Hambletonian Maturity, $189,750 Golden Girls and $471,100 William Haughton Memorial.

The featured event went to race-favourite Courtly Choice, who paid the $61,690 supplemental fee to enter the Meadowlands Pace. Winning his elimination from off the pace in 1:48.2, the Blake MacIntosh-trained son of Art Major sat a second-over trip off quick fractions before surging in the stretch to a lifetime-best 1:47.1 mile, which provided driver David Miller his first win in the 'Pace'.
