The Woodbine Entertainment Group today (Tuesday, July 12) issued an update regarding purse cheque distribution for Mohawk Racetrack and all Alliance racetracks.
A potential postal strike has been put on hold for the time being, and therefore WEG has returned to mailing out purse cheques.
Purse cheques were recently available for pick up at Alliance racetracks and those that were not obtained are in the process of being mailed out.
Effective immediately, all purse cheques earned at Alliance racetracks will be sent out via postal service.
WEG purse cheques are available for pick up on race nights or are otherwise mailed out a week following the race.
This regular process will continue unless otherwise noted by WEG.
