Due to a lack of nominations, Kawartha Downs’ Anniversary Pace, an added-money event, has been cancelled
.
All of those that nominated horses for the event will have their fees returned.
With the track’s 39th anniversary night slated for July 23, Kawartha will offer an Open event that evening with no starting fees. The race will carry a purse in the range of $25,000 to $30,000.
