Get Set For OSS Survivor Challenge

Published: June 27, 2013 04:37 pm EDT

The I Love Canadian Harness Racing Fan Club’s July handicapping contest is a Survivor style challenge featuring Ontario Sires Stakes action. Don’t get 'voted off the island!'

All you have to do is select a top three finisher in eight consecutive races in the challenge. If you select a top three finisher, then you move on to the next round (race).

The contest will feature select Ontario Sires Stakes races at six different tracks across the province. The first two legs will be open for entry on Wednesday July 3rd and will feature two- year-old trotting fillies. Gold eliminations will be at Mohawk on Friday, July 5 and Grassroots eliminations will be at Kawartha Downs on Saturday, July 6. A race from each night’s divisions will be selected and contestants will be required to choose one horse from each race. Your selected horse from July 5 must finish in the top three for you to move on to the next round. (July 6)

Following the second round (July 6) anyone who is “alive” with a top three finisher will be emailed a contest link for the third round. (after driver changes are final) This will continue for the duration of the contest, so it’s important for players to stay updated with the contest as selections will be required each week from players who stay “alive” and move on to the next round.

The winning player will receive a tote bag with $50 worth of I Love Canadian Harness Racing swag. More details and contest rules will be posted early next week. If you are not already a Fan club member click this link to join.
