Step Up For Brooke Arsenault

The Woodbine Entertainment Group has announced via its ‘WEG Cares’ initiative that it is trying to raise funds for 23-year-old Ontario Standardbred racing participant Brooke Arsenault, who was recently diagnosed with a form of cancer and is currently undergoing aggressive chemotherapy treatments.

Brooke is the daughter of trainer Shane Arsenault and Cathy Boughton.

Officials in WEG’s Standardbred race office have brought a rather large jar of candies into the office. For a minimum donation of $2, people can take a guess of how many candies are in the jar for a chance to win tickets to an upcoming Toronto Blue Jays game.

The tickets are for the Jays’ July 8 game against the Detroit Tigers. The set of tickets are in Section 23l – Row 15, Seats 105 and 106, to be specific.

All proceeds will help Brooke with school loans and medical expenses. Your support is greatly appreciated!

The winner will be announced on July 1.

Come show your support and make a guess!
