Posts Drawn For Oslo Grand Prix

Post positions have been drawn for next Sunday’s Oslo Grand Prix at Bjerke Racetrack in Oslo, Norway, and Canada’s representative, Define The World, will start from Post 2 in the 10-horse affair

The John Bax trainee, who will be paired up with driver Paul MacDonell, will take a five-race winning streak into Sunday’s assignment. Owned and bred by Pickering, Ontario’s Al Libfeld, Define The World set a North American season’s record in his most recent assignment when he toured Woodbine Racetrack in 1:52.1 on May 2.

Double millionaire Arch Madness will be teamed with Swedish driving ace Bjorn Goop for the first time. Goop has also committed to drive the son of Balanced Image later this month in front of his hometown crowd in the Elitlopp.

Some of the other notables in this year’s field include the last two Oslo Grand Prix champions, Russel November (2009) and Lisa America (2010) and French champion Rapide Lebel.
