Robert 'Shooter' Graham Passes

Longtime industry participant Robert David 'Shooter' Graham of Stayner, Ont. passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the age of 75.

Robert of Stayner, beloved husband of Rosalie for 57 years. Loving father of Clayton (Judith), Tami (Michael Robinson), the late Jaceson, the late Penny and the late Mark. Cherished grandpa of Jorden and Cole Robinson. Brother of Roland (June) Graham, Susan Graham and the late John Graham. Brother-in-law of Allan Hall (Bonnie) and Charles Hall (June). Also missed by his many nieces and nephews.

'Shooter' was a proud member of Standardbred Canada and the Ontario Harness Horseman’s Association. He was a trainer/driver who raced all over Ontario and will be missed by all who knew him. Graham was most associated with horses the likes of Sterling Kingtime, Bunnys Nitecap, Quest For Comp and Lani Sassy Gal.

Friends will be received at the Brethren In Christ Church, 1152 Concession 6 North, Stayner on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment Barrie Union Cemetery. If desired, remembrances to the Brethren in Christ Church, The Nature Conservancy or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by Robert’s family. Arrangements under the direction of the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel.
