The Ontario Harness Horse Association has released the schedule for the 2009 harness racing youth camps
.
With seven camps scheduled beginning in July, close to 60 children will be given the opportunity to attend the free four-day camps to learn about and interact with standardbred race horses.
“This is a fantastic way for the association to reach out to people who may not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy this type of exposure to our sport,” commented OHHA president Darryl MacArthur.
