The connections of 13 three-year-old male pacers have entered their charges to contest the 25th edition of Yonkers Raceway’s Art Rooney Pace.
The number of entries has necessitated a pair of $40,000 elimination races, which will be contested this Saturday night (May 23).
The top four finishers in each elimination will advance to the $300,000 final, which will take place on Saturday, May 30.

The companion event for the ‘Rooney,’ the 11th Lismore Pace for sophomore pacing fillies, has attracted a half-dozen entrants, thus elimination races are not necessary. The race will carry a purse of $117,724 and will head straight to final on Saturday, May 30.
