The Standardbred Retirement Foundation has announced the details of its 21st annual Golf Tournament.

The tournament will take place on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the beautiful and private Battleground Country Club in Manalapan, New Jersey.

This year's presenting sponsor once again is the generous Valley High Stable. The big highlight again is the SRF Million Dollar Shot. Last year, Peter Tate won the right to take the shot that could have won him $1 million, but the shot was a bit short and he did not rake in the money.

SRF seeks tax-deductible sponsorships are available for the Million Dollar shot, the $50,000 Hole in One, and many other great happenings for the day and evening. Sponsorships range from $500 - $5,000. Donations of other items for the auction, and raffle such as tickets to sporting events, travel tickets/packages, dinners, memorabilia and other popular items are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible as well.

Sponsors, and donors of gifts will see their names on our Golf Bidding webpage (adoptahorse.org) starting May 20. SRF requires semi-annual follow-up by licensed veterinarians for the life of each adopted horse. Unique in its work; SRF is providing care for over 170 standardbreds. This fundraising event assists in the cost of boarding, feeding, training, farrier, veterinary and dental care, vaccinations, and managerial oversight for these horses being boarded at 17 different facilities, as well as oversight for follow-up of the past 2,500 adoptions since 1989.
