Officials with Monticello Raceway have announced that the track will be offering prep races for horses that are eligible to the New York Sire Stakes/Excelsior races.
The track will be drawing on Wednesday, April 29, for the track’s first prep race on Monday, May 4. The purse for those races will be $4,500.
The track’s first NYSS/Excelsior event is scheduled for Monday, May 11. The first prep race will be for three-year-old trotting colts.
