Derian Wins WHHC Qualifier

Tedd Derian of the Bronx, New York, won the Meadowlands Racetrack’s March World Harness Handicapping Championship qualifier held on March 23, 2013.

Derian captured first place with a big score in the final race of the night. His $40 win wager on Danas Sharp Smart in Race 12 paid $304 and ended his night with a bankroll of $466.50.

Derian’s win earned him the $2,280 cash prize and a $1,000 seat in the WHHC, to be held on April 13 at the Meadowlands Racetrack.
