Georgian Downs would like to remind horsepeople that nominations for the Prospector Claiming Series, open to $12,000 claiming pacers, close on April 3.

The Prospector Claiming Series will be staged during the latter half of April, culminating with a $40,000 (est.) final on May 1.

Open to non-winners of $60,000 lifetime as of March 15, 2010, the series consists of two preliminary claiming legs with tags of $12,000 and $15,000, respectively.

Interested horsepeople should contact the Georgian Downs race office at 905-627-5822.

A $200 nomination fee applies and must be submitted by April 3.
