Beverly Crane, 73, a resident at Haven of Scottsdale, died Feb. 2, 2021.

She was born in Salisbury, Md. to Dorothy and James.

She is survived by her daughter, Misti Kekevian; and grandchildren, Bella and Beau. She was the oldest of four siblings and her bothers, Dennis and Chet, along with her younger sister, Donna, also survive.

She was an avid harness racing participant and enthusiast during her younger life. Her favorite horse when she was young with the Crane family was Scottish Dream, aka Dreamer. Her favorite horses with her first husband, Roger Hammer, were Call The Butler and Butlers Luck, aka Lucky. She also had a favorite dog named Snoopy. Call The Butler would not eat when she was not around or gone for a while.

She was married twice, first to Roger Hammer and then to Joe Roszin.

The main focus of her life began in 1973 with the birth of her beautiful daughter, Misti. She always tried to make sure that she was headed in the right direction in life and with God. She was so very proud of Misti and her children, Isabella and Beau.

She liked to be called Bev and lived in these different states through the years: Maryland, California, Pennsylvania, Delaware and finally Arizona.

She suffered many injuries and health issues during her life and was in constant mental and physical pain through the last few months of her life. Even with all of that she was a fighter and would never give up and always kept her faith in God.
