Vernon Downs racing applications are due March 15 and the barn area will open April 1.
The 2014 race season begins on Friday, April 11 and continues until Saturday, November 1.
Applications can be returned via mail – Vernon Downs c/o Scott Warren – Director of Racing, P.O. Box 860, Vernon, NY 13476, via e-mail [email protected], or via fax at 315-829-3364.

All horsemen including ship-ins that intend to race at Vernon Downs must fill out an application.
Horsemen, please be aware that all horses are required to have a negative Coggins and EHV-1 Vaccination Certificate within the last year. All horses shipping in must have a current Health Certificate within the last 30 days and are required only for your first start. Failure to provide proper paperwork will result in denied access to the backstretch.
