Morley Veterinary Services is pleased to welcome Dr. Mario Baracaldo, DVM MVSc, Dip ACT, a Board Certified Equine reproductive specialist to its reproductive program at Westwind Farm in Strathroy, Ontario.

Dr. Baracaldo will join Dr. Terry Morley in providing equine reproductive services to mare and stallion owners as well as reproductive referral cases from veterinary practitioners.

At the Westwind Farm facility, Dr. Baracaldo will be able to perform semen collection and evaluation of stallions, palpation and ultrasonography of mares as well as processing and preparing fresh cooled semen and freezing semen.

Other services available include:

• Breeding Soundness Evaluations of both stallions and mares
• Evaluation of subfertile and infertile horses
• Breeding management of mares including insemination with frozen semen
• Embryo freezing or vitrification
• High risk pregnancy evaluations
