Gary Deveney Sr. of Brantford, Ont., passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 27, 2014, at the age of 67.
Gary, both an owner and a trainer of Standardbreds, was predeceased by his wife Ellie, who passed away in October. Together, they shared a love of harness racing for more than 20 years.
Loving husband of the late Eleanor (2014). Much loved dad of Gary Jr. Papa of Taylor, CJ and Nathan. He is predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Greta Deveney. Gary will be fondly remembered by his extended family members and friends.
Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, Ont., on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. Donations may be made in memory of Gary to the Brant S.P.C.A.
