The Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association has asked those considering standing a stallion in 2024 to consider the state of New Jersey.
"The state appropriation given to our industry has enhanced many of the SBOANJ and New Jersey Sire Stakes programs, allowing Sire Stakes to have purses for both pacers and trotters with high six-figure finals," said the SBOANJ in a release on Saturday, Nov. 4. "If you are interested in standing a stallion in New Jersey, or if you have any questions, please call the SBOANJ office at 732-462-2357."
The deadline for registering a new stallion for the 2024 breeding season is Feb. 15, 2024.
