The Standardbred Retirement Foundation's (SRF) raffle to win a trip to the famous Prix d' Amerique race in Paris through the Equitour package is anyone's win.
The trip for two includes a five-day/four-night stay in Paris at a four-star hotel. The trip includes sightseeing, farm and city tours, cocktail parties, a $1,000 voucher for airfare, and the famous race all from January 28 to February 1, 2016.
The weekend will start with a city sightseeing tour of Paris to see the Arch of Triumph, the Eiffel Tower and more (accompanied by an English-speaking tour guide). A three-course dinner and French wines follow and are also included. The raffle winner will visit Grobois, the training centre like no other (people rave about it and say nothing else is quite like it). Spend a day at the races at Vincennes, a raceway that many call the most opulent harness track in the world. The raffle winner can enjoy races of a variety of distances all from a standing start. On race day, the raffle winner will join fans from all over the world for the big race. Eighteen trotters will compete for the Prix d'Amerique.
