The annual Christmas in Middleburg parade will take place on Saturday, December 2, and for the fifth year the Standardbred Retirement Foundation will be representing the harness racing industry.
Last year's parade had an estimated attendance of 20,000 spectators, who came from Washington, D.C. and the nearby suburbs of Virginia’s horse country.
The parade will start at 2 p.m. following the Middleburg Hound and Hunt Review, which will start at 11 a.m.
The SRF's participation in the parade has been organized by Judy Bokman and Fred Hudson. Returning to this year's line-up includes Mark and Garnett Gray, Cheri Collison, Rachel Rhodes, Michelle Graham, Susan Arrington, Stephanie Mckaughan, Megan Caulfield, Janice Atwell and Kayleigh Marie Hirsh.
