Kawartha Downs has released the details regarding its 2011 awards banquet, and has also sent out a reminder to horsepeople with details in regard to the return of live racing to the track
.
The Kawartha Downs 2011 Awards Banquet will take place Saturday, February 18 at the Keystone Links Golf & Country Club. Cocktail hour will start at 6:30 p.m. and the buffet dinner will get underway at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person.
There will be a deejay, a cash bar and door prizes.

Racing at the track will resume on Saturday, January 14 with a first-race post time of 1:00 p.m. The box for Saturday racing will closes on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m.
Live racing will then continue Monday, January 16 with a 7:00 p.m. first-race post time. The box for the Monday cards will close on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.
Qualifying races will take place on Saturdays at 4:30 P.M. (after the last race of the pari-mutuel card). The box for the Saturday qualifying sessions will close on Fridays at 10:00 a.m.
