Longtime Alberta owner and breeder John Leonard ‘Len’ Doyle passed away on Thursday, January 23 in Calgary, Alta. at the age of 87.
The PEI native had been involved in the racing industry since the 1960s.
He owned and bred many outstanding performers including First On Board, Pay The Fiddler, Flying Abba, Flaming Princess, Flaming Prince and countless others.
He is survived by his wife, Armita, and eight children.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
