Driver Eddie Davis Jr. took seven races at Harrington Raceway on Wednesday, with one of those victories coming aboard 14-year-old trotter Stormont Northstar, who recorded the 71st triumph of his career.

Stormont Northstar is the winningest horse in Harrington Raceway history with 35 wins on Delaware's half-mile racetrack. The Bob Stevenson-trained Brisco Hanover gelding was shuffled back to last at the top of the stretch and made an impressive sweeping move in the lane to circle the field in 2:01.

Stormont Northstar continues to defy his age with eight wins and more than $50,000 earned this year for partners Bob Stevenson Inc. and Eric Davis. His career earnings soared to nearly $600,000.

Eddie Davis Jr. became fourth driver in Harington history to win seven races on a card. He also recorded victories with Go Nano Go (1:56.4), Everlasting Pride (1:58.3), Bad Boy Named Sue (1:56.4), Heres Bo Bo (2:00.1), Beads N Weeds (2:00.1), and Had To Be Me (2:00.1).
