Mach It Paid stuck to the pylons to get the job done in the second leg of Saturday's $12,000 the Kempenfelt Pacing Series at Georgian Downs.

Leaving from post three, Mach It Paid (Jean Rene Plante) took the early lead as Southwind Avalanch(Garrett Whelan) followed in second with Hide The Cash (Robert Shepherd) tucked in third to post a :26.4 opening quarter.

Windsun Callum (Stephen Byron) made his move before the half-mile pole, coming from fourth to take the lead. After a :55.4 half mile, Hide The Cash took his turn at trying to challenge the leader, but only got within a length of the front.

Windsun Callum hung on through a 1:23.2 third quarter, but Mach It Paid found room at the rail in the stretch to come back on and win in 1:52.1. Southwind Avalanch finished in third.

The Mach Three gelding picked up his sixth win of the season for owner and trainer Isaac Waxman of Dundas, ON.

The Kempenfelt Final will take place next Saturday at Georgian Downs.
