Hawkinsville Training Center Repaired

Trot Insider has learned that the Lawrence Bennett Harness Training Center in Hawkinsville, Georgia, which was severely damaged in a summer wind storm June 8, has undergone extensive repair and will be open for business in roughly two weeks.

Information from Mac Lilley farms indicates that the facility, which houses 372 horses for winter training, will open as usual on Wednesday, October 15, 2008.

The wind storm caused damages estimated at $1.7 million.
