Prime Time Bliss Wins Fifth Straight

Returning back into care of longtime horseman Terry Burstyk, veteran pacer Prime Time Bliss continued the win streak he began in May on Friday night at Fraser Downs.

Driven by Michael Hennessy, Burstyk's pet pacer rallied home off cover to win the 10th race for $9,000 claimers in 1:55.1 by one and a half lengths. Just Ryan and Thieving Magpie finished second and third, respectively.

The 11-year-old son of Blissfull Hall has now won eight of his last 10 starts and five in a row while climbing the claiming class ladder. He was claimed away from Burstyk and his wife Deborah on Aug. 24 at a price of $4,500, but taken right back in his last outing on Sept. 1 for $6,000.

Prime Time Bliss' 54th career win pushed his earnings over the $300,000 mark.

He paid $17.50 for the mild 7-1 upset.
