Northville Downs, in conjunction with the Michigan Harness Horsemen’s Association and the Michigan Gaming Control Board, has announced that the 2023 harness racing season has been extended through Nov. 25, 2023.
"The previous end date to the meet was Sept. 30, 2023," noted Mike Carlo, Northville Downs Operations Manager, "but after working with the MHHA and getting final approval from the MGCB, we are excited to continue our live race meet through Nov. 25, 2023 to offer more racing opportunities for our horsemen and women and more harness racing fun and excitement to our loyal patrons, families and fans.”
Live racing is in action tonight (Friday Sept 15), with the ever-popular ‘dollar night’ at The Ville on tap, as per usual, with $1 popcorn, live race programs, pop and win bets, as well as $2 hot dogs, beer and hamburger and cheeseburger specials are being offered to fans in attendance on-track. Racing will now be contested every Friday and Saturday night through and including Nov. 25, 2023. First race post time will be 7 p.m. each race night throughout the meet.
